We won't lie to you -- there aren't a lot of albums being released by classic rock artists in December of 2014. You'll notice there's nothing at all listed for the last three weeks of the month, for example. But there are a few important releases that might help you finish up your holiday shopping, including a brand-new AC/DC album.

'Rock or Bust,' the band's 15th studio effort and first in six years, arrives amid a highly uncharacteristic flurry of drama. Regardless, the songs we've heard so far -- first single 'Play Ball' and the title track -- sound exactly like what you'd want an AC/DC record to sound like, unaffected by these troubles.

December also finds a handful of Beatles compilations being re-released on vinyl just in time for the holidays, a live video from recently departed Cream legend Jack Bruce, and box sets from King Crimson, Todd Rundgren and the Kinks.

Here’s a full list of December’s new classic rock releases. Click on the highlighted titles to learn more about many of these records and videos.
