Dead & Company have added another date to their upcoming tour: a third show at Madison Square Garden scheduled for Nov. 7. But unlike the Grateful Dead spin-off group's New York concerts on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, they are giving away tickets to this performance.

The gig is part of the American Express Unstaged Series and will be live-streamed that night. Dead & Company aren't selling tickets to the show; instead, fans can enter a giveaway to win two tickets to the concert at their website. The deadline for entry is Oct. 8.

The new band features Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, who most recently got together for a few dates dubbed Fare Thee Well to help celebrate the group's 50th anniversary last summer. This new road trip – which also includes John Mayer – starts on Oct. 29 in Albany. You can see the full list of Dead & Company tour dates below.

Weir told the Associated Press in a new interview that this new date – and the 10,000 tickets they will be giving away – is something special for fans. "People who want to hear the music get to hear it for free, and we get to promote our music and share it with people," he said. The group's other two Madison Square Garden shows are sold out.

And it sounds like Dead fans can expect to hear plenty of classics from the band's catalog. "We've been through 45 or 50 tunes," said Weir. "I'm not going to tell you that we have them entirely locked down, but we have a good handle on them."

The 11-date tour winds down at the end of the year with a pair of concerts at Los Angeles' Forum.
