David Byrne and Brian Eno have a rich history together, and we're getting a little closer glimpse of it.

An early version of their 1981 collaborative album 'My Life in the Bush of Ghosts' has surfaced in cassette demo form. The tapes were apparently given to an acquaintance of Byrne's many years ago and the demos are now online.

A check at My Wall of Tapes reveals the track listing for the demos, which varies slightly with alternate song titles from what eventually became the released record. Listen to the cassette demos here.

Twentyfourbit.com reports that the frequent collaborations became more of a focus last month when director Hillman Curtis passed away. Curtis helmed the 2008 video profile, 'Everything That Happens Happen Will Happen Today,' which was an in-depth look at the creative process between the two music greats.
