Calling all filmmakers and David Bowie fans! In celebration of the 40th anniverary of the release of Bowie's 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars' album, Genero TV has created a special contest.

Create a music video for the album's title track and upload it to Genero's site by June 8. The winner will receive $4,000, with the video published on Genero's site. They will also get a copy of the remastered CD and LP, which will be released June 5, almost 40 years to the date of the original's release on June 6, 1972. More details about the concert can be found at Genero's website.

The 40th anniversary edition has been remastered by original engineer Ray Staff, and will be available both on CD and a limited-edition vinyl. The vinyl contains an audio DVD with a 5.1 mix of the album, as well as bonus mixes of 'Velvet Goldmine, 'Sweet Head' and an instrumental version of 'Moonage Daydream.' Back in March, a plaque was placed at the spot where the album's famous cover photo was taken.
