In a pairing of coach and contestant, Cee Lo Green and Juliet Simms delivered a performance of Steppenwolf's 'Born To Be Wild' tonight (May 7) on NBC's singing competition 'The Voice.'

WIth Cee Lo being the most eclectic coach on the judges panel, and Simms a bit of a wild child herself on the stage, 'Born To Be Wild' seemed like a perfect tune for the pair to tackle for their duet performance.

With both singers dressed in studded black leather outfits, it seemed like Cee Lo purposely added a sratchier tone to his voice to match up with the raspy vocals that Simms has displayed throughout the competition. Truth be told, it wasn't the best choice of song to show off either one's vocal abilities and the Vegas-style setting with theatrical background dancers and explosives just added to the chaos of the performance.
