With the win, Stewart joins George Harrison as the only two-time inductee into the Hall of Fame, while Zep gets a third and final chance at induction.

Congratulations to the Kinks, who have narrowly defeated the Beatles to become the first band nominated into the 100% fan-voted Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame. It all started with a couple of power chords fed through a modified guitar amp. Actually, it all started with an underwhelming cover of Little Richard’s ‘Long Tall Sally’ in February 1964. But no one really remembers that, and it doesn’
