Classic Rock at the Movies

Has there ever been a song more co-opted as an anthem than Bachman-Turner Overdrive's 'Taking Care of Business?' The track, which even had a 1990 Jim Belushi comedy bearing its name, has certainly done quite well for Randy Bachman and Fred Turner over the years, and it earned them another high profile gig this past weekend.

It's long been speculated that Eddie Van Halen makes a musical cameo in the 1985 classic film 'Back to the Future.' Now the guitarist has confirmed it. TMZ reports that Van Halen has confirmed it's him playing on the cassette Marty McFly scares his father with.

We've been closely following the news coming out about ‘All Is By My Side,’ the upcoming biopic about Jimi Hendrix, from the beginning of its filming to drummer Kenny Aronoff's work on the soundtrack to the  lack of support given it by Hendrix's estate.
