The very blond rocker featured in this yearbook photo, born March 15, 1941, is a founding member of a band known for its fun-in-the-sun songs. He is the singer and is still active with the band today, even as it often works through a variety of inter-band issues.

While he advanced towards middle age and the twilight years, his hair has remained a distinguishing, bright feature of his looks. He has gone solo, as well. He also once spent time in India with the late Beatle George Harrison.
