The artist in this yearbook photo is the bassist for a midwestern rock band. We know, that doesn't tell you much, but this is a guessing game so we can't give too much away, people. He was born on May 9, 1950 and one of his claims to fame is the fact that he has played a 12-string bass.

He left the band in which he garnered a considerable measure of fame in 1980, only to return in 1988. He remains with the group today. Also, on an episode of 'How I Met Your Mother,' Neil Patrick Harris' character impersonated him to try and pick up a girl. Now that's a claim to fame.
