This smiling, bespectacled young man went on to make rock history as the member of not just one, but two classic southern rock bands. Can you guess who he is from this yearbook photo?

He's pictured here in his freshman yearbook photo, and it wasn't long after school before he joined up with his first legendary band. He was a member of that group for six years, but left before they released their debut album. Several years later, he joined another famous band -- led by the brother of the other band's singer -- and continues to perform with them to this day. He's also a noted HAM radio enthusiast, but giving away his handle might be too much of a clue.
