This guitarist was one of two in arguably the biggest hard rock band of the mid to late '80s. While he didn't get the lion's share of the attention in the band, he was crucial to their signature sound, as songwriter and rhythm guitarist. He doesn't go by his given name -- we'll provide a hint about his real first name, which is Jeffrey. His stage moniker is infinitely cooler.

He was also one of the first original members to split the famously fractured group. He has stayed away from the drama that often surrounds the band, and even rejoined his former frontman on stage from time to time.
