Eight A-list artists have been named as performers at the 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy relief concert in New York City next month. Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and the Who are just three of the classic rock acts who've agreed to play the Madison Square Garden event. More are expected to be named in coming weeks.

The Dec. 12 show will directly benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund to aid victims of Sandy, which devastated the New York and New Jersey coast in late October. Ticket information, including VIP packages and telecast information, is expected to soon be available at the concert's official website.

Roger Waters, Jon Bon Jovi and Billy Joel are three other rockers who will appear, in addition to Alicia Keys and Kanya West. Clear Channel Entertainment, the Madison Square Garden Company and the Weinstein Company came together to pull the concert off. The Robin Hood Relief Fund provides money, material and know-how to local organizations serving families hit hard by Sandy.
