Bruce Springsteen has announced a book tour in support of his upcoming autobiography, Born to Run.

Dates have been announced for September and October, with stops in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angles, Seattle and Philadelphia, among others. All events include a pre-signed copy of the book.

A complete list of dates, sites and cities is below.

Born to Run is set for release on Sept. 27, marking the culmination of a six-year process for Springsteen. "Writing about yourself is a funny business," he said in a news release announcing the memoir. "But in a project like this, the writer has made one promise, to show the reader his mind. In these pages, I've tried to do this."

Even while working on the book, Springsteen has remained very busy professionally. He's recording a new album described as "more of a solo project," and just concluded an extended tour celebrating his 1980 album The River. Those dates promoted a recent River-inspired box set called The Ties That Bind.
