The iconic Jersey boy -- Bruce Springsteen -- is set to turn 63 on Sept. 23. It's not easy to believe that in two years "the Boss" will officially become a senior citizen. Then again, it's not like he's slowing down.

Springsteen received his first guitar at the age of 13 and it seems he's never stopped strumming. It's now almost five decades later, and he's still one of the most popular rockers out there.

While he'll soon be applying for an AARP membership, Springsteen and his E Street Band can currently be found selling out stadiums, playing three hour shows, and wearing out crowds around the world.
