Former AC/DC singer Brian Johnson emerged unscathed after a roll-over car crash during a celebrity race at the Silverstone Classic in the U.K. over the weekend. You can check out a few photos from the accident below; a frame-by-frame breakdown is also available at Motorsport.com.

Johnson, who left AC/DC with hearing problems last year, was taking part in a qualifying heat over the weekend. The wreck meant he was unable to start the official race, which included 30 drivers in classic Austin A30s and A35s facing off on a 3.66-mile Grand Prix circuit course for charity.

Celebrities were split into five teams, and each was mentored by a well-known race driver. Those who qualified had the opportunity to compete for a charity prize, with proceeds benefiting Prostate Cancer U.K., the event’s official sponsor. The Silverstone Classic has been called the world’s biggest classic-car racing festival. It features 21 scheduled races.

Johnson is a longtime car enthusiast, and said he believed later hearing problems were related to a mishap on the track. He hosted a television program called Cars That Rock, and earlier competed at Florida’s Daytona International Speedway to raise money for the charity Highway to Help.

Johnson’s exit from AC/DC was part of a tumultuous period. Since 2014, the band has lost guitarist Malcolm Young, drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams. Young left to deal with a health issue, Rudd had legal woes and Williams retired. AC/DC’s future plans remain unclear.
