If you’re planning to hire a babysitter so that you can attend Bon Jovi‘s concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. on July 20, be prepared to give them a little extra that night. The Foxboro Board of Selectman has extended the band’s curfew from 11:15 to midnight.

My Fox Boston is reporting the volume will be brought down at 11:50PM. Town officials will be stationed at the soundboard and outside the stadium with decibel meters to make sure the band is complying with the deal. The band asked for the extension after Boston’s own J. Geils Band were added to the bill.

However, should the veteran band decide to go down the true rock n’ roll path and go past midnight, they will be fined on a sliding scale, ranging from five cents per attendee for a five-minute violation to $1.75 per attendee if they play beyond 1:00AM. Gillette Stadium has a capacity of 68,000, but the concert is not sold out.

Earlier today (July 13), we reported that Bon Jovi’s “Because We Can” tour is currently the highest-grossing tour of the year, taking in more than $142 million in 60 shows in 2013 to date.
