The boys in Bon Jovi sure are keeping busy this year. Fresh from a string of European concerts, the Jersey-based rockers have announced a run of North American tour dates this fall. These dates will comprise the second leg of the North American shows that began in February and ran through April before the group headed overseas.

The new dates commence on October 2 in Vancouver and run through November 8, when they wrap up in Montreal.

It's unclear whether guitarist Richie Sambora will be taking part in the upcoming concerts. He skipped the first leg of the U.S. tour, then sat out the overseas dates due to "personal issues." There has been rampant speculation that Sambora was forced off the tour because of recurring substance abuse, which frontman Jon Bon Jovi has adamantly refused to confirm.

He recently said that Sambora is welcome to return to the band "when he is ready to die every night the way I walk on the stage," adding that he has spoken to him just once since his abrupt departure. In a recent interview, Sambora insisted that he is fine but stopped short of speculating on when he would return to the band. If he does not perform on the North American fall dates, it's likely that guitarist Phil X will continue to serve in his place.
