Bob Dylan's songs that honor human rights activism are featured in a recording by a Who's Who of '80 artists including Jackson Browne, Mark KnopflerJoe Perry and others.

The new and previously unreleased songs on 'Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International' will bring attention and support to the human rights organization and its causes.

Music executives Jeff Ayeroff and Julie Yannatta, who spearheaded the 2007 collection of John Lennon solo compositions recorded by major artists artists and released as 'Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur' - are the executive producers of this project. The collection is scheduled for physical (four discs) and digital release in North America on Jan. 24 of next year through Fontana Distribution.

All of the artists, session musicians, arrangers, engineers, producers and recording studios worked pro-bono to support the project and the human rights cause.

Highlights of the four-disc recording include Patti Smith on 'Drifter's Escape'; Pete Townshend on 'Corrina, Corrina''; Perry on 'Man of Peace'; and Bob Dylan himself on 'Chimes of Freedom.'
