Health problems to Ozzy Osbourne have temporarily forced Black Sabbath off the road. The band was forced to postpone a Jan. 30 show in Edmonton, Alberta, and a Feb. 1 date in Calgary, Alberta.

“Due to extreme sinusitis with Ozzy Osbourne the shows in both Edmonton and Calgary have been postponed,” they wrote on Facebook. “Details regarding rescheduled dates will be announced as soon as they are available.”

UPDATE: Black Sabbath has also pushed back a show set for tonight (Feb. 3) at Vancouver, again citing Osbourne’s health. The band said a rescheduled date will be announced “as soon as it is available.”

Black Sabbath are currently on their The End tour, which they say will be the last shows they will play together. They kicked off two weeks ago in Omaha and have dates scheduled through September. However, the drummer for their opening act, Rival Sons, said that more nights will be added. “The dates go into 2017,” he said, “but none of those are released. We don’t even know what they are yet. I think this tour is going to keep going for awhile.”

They have already made headlines away from the stage when bassist Geezer Butler insinuated that they had reached out to founding drummer Bill Ward to perform on the final announced date — Sept. 16 in Phoenix — but he refused. However, Ward said that no such offer was made, and Butler issued an apology.

And even though they decided against going into the studio to have an album to promote on this last round, Osbourne and Butler have considered the possibility of recording a follow-up to 2013’s 13. “There’s nothing stopping us from doing another album after the tour,” Butler said.
