Jon Stevens, it seems, was just enjoying the show. Then Billy Joel suddenly called the Dead Daisies frontman up for a raucous rendition of AC/DC's 'Highway to Hell' at Madison Square Garden this week.

"My first time at the Garden -- and I wasn't expecting to be asked up onstage," Stevens marvelled later, via Facebook. "Talk about intense." The video of their spur-of-the-moment performance is embedded above.

Luckily, Stevens had been there before. He previously performed 'Highway to Hell' with Joel in Sydney last year.

Of course, it was right back to work afterward. The Dead Daisies' on-going tour as the opener for Kiss and Def Leppard continues tonight (August 9) in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and then on Sunday (August 10) in Hartford, Connecticut. If that wasn't enough, the Dead Daisies premiered their new EP in late July here at Ultimate Classic Rock, too.

Meanwhile, Joel is continuing his monthly residency at the Garden as long as fan interest remains. Back in March, AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson sat in with Joel on the same stage for a performance of 'You Shook Me All Night Long.'
