Best Kiss ‘Revenge’ Song – Readers’ Poll

Ten years after their last undeniable classic album 'Creatures of the Night,' Kiss returned to nearly full glory with the chrome-plated statement of purpose 'Revenge,' dedicated to their recently deceased drummer Eric Carr.

The album finds the band joining forces for the third time with producer Bob Ezrin ('Destroyer,' 'Music from the Elder,' Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, etc.)

This time around, he doesn't try to dress the band up, but instead simply helps pump up and focus their natural primal sound on tracks like the storming 'Unholy' and the joyfully angry anti-romance anthem 'I Just Wanna.' The results are pretty damn awesome.

In a shocking twist, former 'Lick it Up'-era guitarist Vinnie Vincent returns to co-write those two songs as well as the layered, dynamic 'Heart of Chrome.' (Naturally, he pissed Simmons and Stanley off again soon, which is a damn shame.)

The album also features 'God Gave Rock & Roll to You II,' a re-write of Argent's pro-music rallying cry that has become a worthy partner to 'Rock and Roll All Nite' at the end of Kiss concerts. The band also includes the one and only drum solo ever recorded in the studio by Carr as a tribute to their fallen friend.

That's already a lot of great songs to choose from as the best 'Revenge' song, and we didn't even mention 'Domino' or 'Paralyzed' or Stanley's irony-free ode to strip clubs, 'Take It Off.' So which are you going to choose?
