Axl Rose proved that his broken foot is beginning to heal by walking onstage for the encore of AC/DC's May 16 concert in Werchter, Belgium, and performing half of "Highway to Hell" without using the throne he famously borrowed from Dave Grohl.

Judging from the fan-shot video of the full concert, Rose performed most of the show sitting down – he also stood for part of "Riff Raff" – which is totally understandable since he's still wearing a rather large walking boot as a result of an injury suffered during Guns N' Roses' surprise April 1 show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.

It's been a busy year for Rose, who welcomed Slash and Duff McKagan back to Guns N' Roses for what promises to be one of the biggest tours of the year. As if that wasn't enough, he also volunteered to help AC/DC finish their current tour after longtime singer Brian Johnson was forced to stop live performing due to severe hearing damage.

AC/DC's current European tour with Rose winds up on June 12 in Aarhus, Denmark. After that, Rose will kick off a football stadium tour with Guns N' Roses on June 23 in Detroit and is scheduled to end on Aug. 22 in San Diego. After that, he will reportedly join up with AC/DC once again to help them complete the 10 U.S. tour dates postponed as a result of Johnson's departure. (Rescheduled dates for those shows have not been announced yet.)

If he's looking to complete the most incredible hat trick in rock history, Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford recently declared that the band is considering touring with another singer while Steven Tyler pursues his solo country music career. And wait, wasn't David Lee Roth just saying a potential goodbye to Van Halen?
