One of the most famous (and obviously, coolest) costumes in all of rock and roll can be found on AC/DC guitarist Angus Young -- well, at least at the start of every one of their concerts.

In a ritual which reportedly started with the young guitarist darting off for band rehearsals without even taking his school uniform off, Young has been appearing in his trademark shorts, sportcoat tie and hat for nearly four decades now. Of course, with the high on-stage temperatures and his non-stop Chuck Berry duckwalks, it isn't long before the Australian dynamo starts shedding pieces of his suit, a process that typically culminates in the mock "mooning" of the audience during his nightly guitar solo.
