The death of Amy Winehouse this past weekend continues to elicit strong twitter reactions from the classic rock community. Perhaps that's partially because she died at the tragically young age of 27, a milestone many rock greats, including Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison, did not live beyond.

Twisted Sister's Dee Snider strongly defended himself against people who said his first tweet on the subject was uncaring, while the band War dedicated a concert to Winehouse. Slash revealed he hoped Winehouse would make it through her well-documented addictions intact, as he did, while artsits from Heart to Foghat and Flea all chimed in as well.  Find out everybody said in the list of Twitter posts below:
