Alice Cooper dares you to enter his nightmare, presenting 'Halloween Horror Nights 2011' at Universal Studios Hollywood this Halloween season. Opening on Sept. 23, and continuing on selected nights through October 31, this maze of horror is the scarred consequence of a vision only Alice could conjure up.

The maze's design will be based on Cooper's classic 1975 album 'Welcome To My Nightmare,' and its highly anticipated sequel, 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare,' which is scheduled for release in September 2011. Music from both albums will accompany visitors on their journey through this "living horror movie."

As a pioneer in rock theater it makes perfect sense that Cooper’s music, electric chair, guillotine and all things creepy-crawly are the subject of this terrifying maze. Spookier still, its location is gravely close to where many horror movies first began. One can only hope that the ghost of Vincent Price will return for a scary narration, as the actor did on the original 1975 album.

Longtime Cooper fan, John Murdy is the creative director and with inspiration from Alice plans to turn this themed amusement into a terror that will haunt you long after you’ve left the park. Part of the annual Halloween Horror Nights events, horror movie director/actor Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel) is also on board promising every victim an experience of monstrous proportions.
