The 2012 Ultimate Classic Rock Awards continue with one of the most important categories -- Album of the Year. Many of classic rock's biggest bands put out new albums this year, and now you have the ability to reward them with your support in our 2012 Album of the Year poll.

We recently polled our writers to come up with our own top 10, and as you can see, Van Halen's long-awaited comeback 'A Different Kind of Truth' won out. But now it's your turn.

Van Halen are joined in the 2012 Album of the Year category, in no particular order, by Aerosmith's 'Music From Another Dimension,' Bob Dylan's 'Tempest,' Heart's 'Fanatic,' Kiss' 'Monster,' Rush's 'Clockwork Angels,' Bruce Springsteen's 'Wrecking Ball,' Joe Walsh's 'Analog Man,' Neil Young's 'Psychedelic Pill' and ZZ Top's 'La Futura.' We've also added in Slash's 'Apocalyptic Love' and Lynyrd Skynyrd's 'Last of a Dyin' Breed' for your consideration. You can read a little more about each album by simply clicking on the album titles above.

So there you have it --12 months worth of great new albums from veteran rock bands. Which one deserves to be crowned Album of the Year? That's up to you. Voting is open now through 11:59PM on Jan. 15 and the winner will be revealed in our Ultimate Classic Rock Awards on Jan. 16.
