Steven Tyler has always been celebrated for his flashy, flamboyant fashion sense – who else can rock a mic stand scarf and bellbottoms like Aerosmith's frontman? That's why he was named the celebrity face for the rock 'n' roll inspired collection of designer Andrew Charles. To promote their latest line of threads, Tyler will appear at Macy's in New York City on Friday, Oct. 14, and some lucky fans will get the chance to meet him.

According to AeroForceOne, here's the conditions: On Thursday, Oct. 13, the first 350 shoppers that purchase $100 or more of Andrew Charles clothing at Herald Square Macy's will be granted an “All-Access Pass” which will allow them entry to the store on Friday, Oct. 14 at 6 PM to meet Tyler and snap a photo with him!

Tyler and his daughter Chelsea, 22, will be featured in Andrew Charles ad campaigns, and he will make personal appearances when the women's and men's contemporary collections are featured in the Impulse Departments of 100 Macy's locations. Who said being a spokesperson/spokemodel was easy? You have to do actual promotional work, in addition to looking pretty, stylish, fashionable and fabulous in photos!

"I grew up on Aerosmith and Steven Tyler," said Andy Hilfiger, the line's creative director and president of marketing, when asked why Tyler is the perfect fit for this line. "I've always loved his music and style. In his own wardrobe, Tyler mixes leather, leopard and scarves, and is known for his animal prints and his accessories. I've always loved his music and his style." That's why Tyler is the perfect (and literal) poster boy for this set!

We're left to wonder when Tyler will find time to do all this promotion. With a new Aerosmith album in the works and his 'American Idol' schedule about to kick up again, the frontman is quite busy. Let's hope guitarist Joe Perry doesn't disapprove of Tyler-as-model like he did of Tyler-as-'Idol'-judge. We don't want any more drama and extracurricular activities delaying a new album!
