Yesterday, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler took to Facebook to post the trailer for his group's upcoming concert movie 'Rock For The Rising Sun'.

Along with the trailer (embedded above for your viewing pleasure), Tyler posted a short note: "Hey ya'll…How 'bout sum of our new movie!!!  2 start ur day or nite. Can’t wait for u to see it. Luv ST!!!"

The concert was filmed in Tokyo a relatively short six months after the March 2011 earthquake and subsequent tsunami devastated much of the country which led to the meltdown of the Fukushima nuclear reactor.

Due for release next month, Aerosmith's new concert film was directed by Casey Patrick Tebo. 'Rock For The Rising Sun' features live footage combined with a behind-the-scenes look at how Japanese citizens were coping with the vast destruction resulting from the natural disasters.

As we reported yesterday, Aerosmith, Boston and more are set to headline the ‘Boston Strong: an Evening of Support and Celebration' concert taking place at TD Garden on Thursday May 30. The proceeds from the show will be donated to the One Fund, a charity set up to help those affected by the tragedy of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing. So far, the fund has already raised more than $28 million thanks to a mix of public and corporate donations.
