Who knew that the hottest concert ticket in town would come in the form of the after party for the ‘Dark Shadows’ movie. The new Tim Burton flick starring Johnny Depp as a displaced vampire, features a performance scene by shock rocker Alice Cooper circa 1972 (reportedly thanks to some special digital enhancement). The premiere festivities served up a celebration party fit for a rockstar with the two joining forces with some of classic rocks biggest names serving up some serious all-star jams.

Taking up shop at the El Capitan Theater, Warner Brothers went all out recreating the ballroom scene in the movie for the surprise show. According to AliceCooper.com, the night started off with a performance from the man himself. Alice Cooper and his band (featuring a trio of guitarists -  Orianthi, Tommy Henriksen and Kerri Kelli in addition to Chuck Garric on bass and Glen Sobel on drums) started the night off with a bang.

Johnny Depp, who recently performed with Marilyn Manson at the Golden God Awards, hopped on stage as well. When he’s not starring in blockbuster movies, he plays a mean guitar. Cooper even made reference to "getting the band back together," referring to Depp joining Alice onstage at the 100 Club last year.

So for anyone keeping track that now makes four killer guitarists onstage backing up the theatrics of the one and only Alice Cooper. What’s one more right? Joe Perry of Aerosmith joined them onstage creating an instant supergroup. Then, blowing everybody’s minds, Steven Tyler jumped onstage and the gang of superstars powered their way through the Beatles classic ‘Come Together’ followed by Led Zeppelin's ‘Whole Lotta Love.’

‘Dark Shadows’ hits movie theaters this Friday (May 11) but this concert is going to be one tough act to follow. You can read all about the music featured in the movie right over here.
