Boston-based rockers Aerosmith have canceled a scheduled concert in Indonesia after reports of a bomb threat in the capital city of Jakarta.

The band were scheduled to perform in Jakarta on May 11. According to Rolling Stone, the group canceled the show on Saturday (May 4) after the Indonesian government announced they had arrested two militants who were plotting to bomb the Myanmar Embassy. The planned attack was allegedly planned to protest the government's treatment of Muslims.

According to the Associated Press, the show was nearly sold out to a crowd of almost 15,000. Initial reports did not clarify if the cancellation is due directly to the threat against the embassy, or if other threats were made toward the group.

Aeromsith's management apologized to fans in a statement via Ismaya Live, the promoter of the event. There has been no announcement of a re-scheduled date so far.
