This past Thursday (Oct. 24), Ace Frehley and Peter Criss performed together for the first time since 2000 as part of an all-star band. The concert, a celebration of the 30th anniversary of Eddie Trunk's radio show, took place at New York's Hard Rock Cafe.

The Winery Dogs, a super-group consisting of Richie Kotzen, Billy Sheehan and Mike Portnoy, kicked things off with a blistering set. For the second half, Kotzen was replaced by Guns 'n' Roses guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, and the three formed a rhythm section with an incredible array of guest musicians sitting in to pay tribute both to Trunk and their favorite metal heroes.

With vocal and lead guitar help provided by some of the big names in metal, the group tore through anthems by Deep Purple, Van Halen and Twisted Sister. Lita Ford also joined in the fun for Too Hot to Handle' by UFO, whom Trunk has long championed on his show The complete list of songs and performers can be found below the pictures.

But the highlight was the unexpected reunion of Frehley and Criss. It started simply enough with Scott Ian and Frank Bello from Anthrax covering 'Got to Choose.' Then, Frehley came out for 'Parasite,' and he was followed by Criss on 'Hooligan, which he sang.' Frehley returned to the stage, with the two former Kiss members jamming together on 'Love Her All I Can' and 'Rock and Roll All Nite' to close out the main set.

The encore consisted of two more songs by UFO. 'Doctor Doctor' and 'Lights Out,' the former of which featured Geoff Tate on vocals.
