Here's another chance to sample Ace Frehley's forthcoming solo disc, as the former Kiss guitarist streams the title song from 'Space Invader' via Soundcloud. Check it out via the link above.

This new album, Frehley's first in five years, is set for release next week. Ultimate Classic Rock played host to an exclusive premiere of Frehley's update of the Steve Miller Band classic 'The Joker' earlier this morning. Those two songs join 10 others on an project that finds Frehley reuniting with the album cover artist who did 'Destroyer' and 'Love Gun' for his former band in the late '70s.

"I’ve been talking with Ken Kelly since 2007 about painting a CD cover for me and it has finally happened," Frehley said in a press release. "I couldn’t be more excited about the new 'Space Invader' cover, and the music behind it is also going to rock your world.”

Hungry for more? Fans can also see Frehley on 'The Tonight Show' this evening (Aug. 12), when he'll be sitting in with the Roots house band. 'Space Invader' is due on August 15 in Germany, August 18 in Europe and August 19 in the U.S.
