Kiss legend Ace Frehley has released 'Gimme a Feelin',' the first single from his upcoming sixth solo album, 'Space Invader.'

The straight-ahead, hooky and guitar-heavy rocker finds Frehley in familiar sonic territory -- not to mention at least a little bit horny, judging by the "Baby, you got what it takes to tangle my brain" lyrics. And of course he takes every possible opportunity to show off his famous soloing skills.

You can hear 'Gimme a Feelin' above courtesy of Rolling Stone, and buy the entire song over at iTunes. 'Space Invader,' which will also feature a cover of the Steve Miller Band's 1973 smash 'The Joker,' is due in stores on July 8.

Frehley reunited with artist Ken Kelly, who did the iconic covers for the Kiss albums 'Destroyer' and 'Love Gun,' to create the artwork for 'Space Invader.' The guitarist recently kicked up a bit of a fuss by declaring he blows current Kiss guitarist Tommy Thayer -- who now wears Frehley's famous "Spaceman" makeup -- off the stage.
