A nation of aspiring guitar heroes probably first heard the influential licks from former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley on vinyl back in the day. Now, they can put the needle on the record again with a special silver vinyl pressing of ‘Anomaly,’ the solo album which triumphantly re-launched the ‘Spaceman’s’ solo career in 2009.

‘Anomaly’ was Frehley’s first solo release of all-new material since ‘Trouble Walkin’’ in 1989. Most of the record was self-produced by Ace, with the exception of a psychedelically-tinged cover of Sweet’s ‘Fox On The Run,’ produced by Marti Frederiksen.  Cleaned up and several years wiser, ‘Anomaly’ finds Frehley in great form.

The new vinyl pressing is strictly limited to 1000 hand numbered copies pressed on double LP silver vinyl in gatefold packaging. Available for pre-order now, the set is expected to sell out well in advance of its scheduled release date of April 10.

Frehley recently teamed up with Gibson for a limited run signature ‘Budokan’ Les Paul commemorating the classic Japanese concerts that he played in 1977 with Kiss. The first 50 guitars in the series will be signed by Ace.
