These particular concert deeds from AC/DC were in no way dirt cheap. A very limited splatter-vinyl edition of the group's 1978 live set 'If You Want Blood, You've Got It' has sold for more than $1,000 on eBay.

Originally released in November 1978 and featuring original frontman Bon Scott, the platinum-selling 'If You Want Blood' was recorded during AC/DC's tour in support of 'Powerage,' primarily at their stop in Glasgow, Scotland on April 30. The album also includes tracks from 1975's 'T.N.T.,' 1976's 'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap' and 1977's 'Let There Be Rock.' 'Dog Eat Dog' from this release was later issued on the B-side of AC/DC's 1978 single 'Whole Lotta Rosie.'

Dubbed "highly collectible and sought after" by ACDCCollector.com, there were only 500 of these rare splatter-patterned albums made. Final cost in this eBay auction for a piece of AC/DC history? $1,099.

Those hoping for something of a newer vintage from the band can look forward to new music, as bassist Cliff Williams recently reported that guitarists Angus and Malcolm Young are at work their first new material in some five years.
