AC/DC Singer Brian Johnson Set to Race in Daytona Event

AC/DC singer Brian Johnson, a longtime car-racing enthusiast, is planning to compete in the Rolex 24 event at the Daytona International Speedway in the beginning of 2012.

Johnson will co-drive a vintage Riley vehicle with businessman Byron DeFoor, an avid racer and owner of a number of classic race cars.

The two-day race, which will be celebrating its 50th anniversary, will take place Jan. 28 and 29. For more information on the event and to purchase tickets, click here.

Johnson recently released a memoir titled 'Rockers and Rollers: An Automotive Autobiography' that details his love of car collecting and racing.
