A list of 2013 Grammy Hall of Fame inductees includes plenty of songs and albums familiar to classic rock fans. Hits by AC/DC, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney & Wings, Bob Dylan and Elton John are amongst the 27 recordings chosen to be honored at the Grammy Museum. The Recording Academy made the announcement today (Nov. 21).

To qualify, a project must be at least 25 years old and "exhibit qualitative or historical significance." With the 27 new additions, the list on display will total 933.

AC/DC's 'Back in Black' album will be honored as well as Paul McCartney & Wings 'Band on the Run' album from 1973. Elton John's 1970 'Elton John' album will also be inducted in 2013 as will the Billy Joel song 'Piano Man' and Bob Dylan's song 'The Times They Are A-Changin'.' Little Richard's 'Little Richard' album from 1957 is also included.

Other notable non-rock recordings chosen for the 2013 class include the Ray Charles hit 'Hit the Road Jack' and James Brown's 'I Got You (I Feel Good).' The Recording Academy's National Board of Trustees ultimately approves the songs and albums that gain entrance into the Hall of Fame. A complete list of inductees can be found at the Hall of Fame's website.

The 2013 Grammy Awards will air on CBS on Feb. 10, 2013 at 8PM ET.
