Reg Presley, lead singer for British rockers the Troggs, passed away on Feb. 4 after a battle with cancer. The Troggs rose to prominence in 1966 with the smash hit 'Wild Thing.' The hits kept coming for a few years with records like 'With A Girl Like You,' 'Love Is All Around,' ' I Can't Control Myself' and 'Any Way That You Want Me giving the band worldwide fame.

Their raw and often crude style was always tempered with a strong melody, and they were highly influential over the years on a wide variety of musicians from REM to the Ramones and beyond.
