Rockers We’ve Lost in 2013: Legendary Producer Phil Ramone

Legendary record producer Phil Ramone passed away on March 30 after complications from an aortic aneurysm. He was 72 years old. Over the course of his 50 plus years in the music business, he worked with countless artists including Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Frank Sinatra, and Bob Dylan to name but a few. He got his start as an engineer and producer in the 1960s working with everyone from Stan Getz to Barbra Streisand. He is survived by his wife Karen and three sons.
