Rockers We’ve Lost in 2012: Def Leppard Collaborator Dick Decent

We learned in September of 2012 that occasional Def Leppard collaborator Dick Decent passed away. Decent had played with the band live as well as with Joe Elliot and Phil Collen in a side group called Cybernauts.

He occasionally joined the group on stage at their U.K. dates to play keyboards. According to his blog, the keyboardist had been sick since 2009, when he reacted badly to a round of antibiotics. Guitarist Vivian Campbell called him “a super-talented musician and friend.”

Def Leppard performed at a benefit to raise money for their friend in December of 2011.
