B.B. Cunningham Jr., a member of the ’60s group the Hombres, best known for their 1967 hit 'Let It All Hang Out,' was shot and killed in Memphis on Sunday, Oct. 14. Police say the 70-year-old was working as a security guard when he heard gun shots and went to investigate. Cunningham and a 16-year-old boy were found dead from gunshot wounds near the apartment complex Cunningham was working at.

During his career, Cunningham also worked with Billy Joel, Elton John and Lou Rawls. He had been a member of Jerry Lee Lewis’s band since 1997.
