Rock photographer and video director Andrew Macnaughtan, a longtime documentarian of Rush, died suddenly of a heart attack on Jan. 25 while on assignment with the Canadian trio in Los Angeles. The forty-something Macnaughtan helmed more than 70 music videos throughout his award-winning career, but he was best known as Rush's primary photographer for tours, album covers and other artwork for two decades. "We're deeply shocked and heartbroken to learn of the sudden passing of our close friend and long-time photographer," Rush said in a statement.
